Clipping an image inside type in Photoshop


  • Open an image leaves.jpg with photoshop.


  • Select Type Tool Using key "t".
  • Type "Green" on image and zoom it.
  • Now,right click on Background in "Layers" menu and select "Layer From Background" and move this layer to upward.


  • Right click on "Layer 0" and select "Select Clipping Mask".
  • Right click on "Layer 0" and select "Duplicate Layer".
  • Arrang all layer in this order.


  • Set Opticity of layer "Layer 0 copy" to 66%.
  • Select "Green" layer and click on "Add Layer Style" (fx) from bottom side of Layers Window and select Bevel & Emboss.


  • You can change size and soften.
  • Now, Go to Edit>Preferences>Transparency & Gamut. select Grid Size with "None" and click on OK.
  • Now, Select "Green" layer and go to Edit>Transform>Warp and apply any curve to a text.
